The composition “Daidalos – Labyrinth for solo cello” by the French composer Franck Bovet is a work of art that uses literary, plastic and playful means.

In this “open work” in the sense of Umberto Eco, texts from Greek mythology, alchemical ideas, electroacoustic music and modern technologies come together to form an interactive work. Inspired by the construction of video games, Bovet has created a living score to which the public and solo cellist Ian-Elfinn Rosiu have access through playful applications.

The cello is extended by the electronic effects developed at the Centre Henri Pousseur. Digital art and visual effects were created by the partner 3 KD (Liège).

As part of the Impact Days. With the funding of the Interreg V-A Euregio Meuse-Rhine cooperation programme. Co-production: Chudoscnik Sunergia
