Prize Henri Pousseur : Gabriel Chary – Juliette Récasens – Yann Flament
Centre Henri Pousseur and Sphères Sonores invite you to an evening dedicated to the winners of the Contemporary Music Composition Awards. Discover the works of Charly d’Ambra and Adrien Sassier, winners of the Sphères Sonores Contemporary Classical Music Prize 2024 and 2025, as well as the creations of Gabriel Chary, Juliette Récasens and Yann Flament, winners of the Henri Pousseur Prize 2025.
The Contemporary Classical Music Prize, launched in 2015 by the Province of Liège, is awarded each year to a young composer from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation for a new work, whether instrumental, vocal or electronic. The prize aims to promote musical creativity and support emerging talent.
The Henri Pousseur Prize, awarded every two years since 2009, honours a young composition student from a conservatoire in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. For this edition, the Centre Henri Pousseur chose to invite three young artists to present mixed works, combining acoustic instruments and electronic devices, rather than commissioning a work from the winner.
