POSTPONED – Festival Images Sonores 2020 : de Henri Pousseur à Malika Kishino

Postponed due to the current situation around Covid-19.

On 6 May 2020 at the Sainte-Catherine Church in Neuvice (Liège), the festival offers a double programme characterised by the encounter between music and other artistic disciplines such as dance and theatre.



On this occasion, the festival proposes the world premiere of the work RA, for viola, dance and electronics by composer Malika Kishino, developed during a residency the the Centre Henri Pousseur.

During this evening, the festival also proposes Ex Dei in Machinam Memoria, a work by Henri Pousseur that has not been played for almost 40 years, the electronic part of which has recently been updated by the Centre Henri Pousseur, as well as works by Belgian composers Luc Brewaeys and Daan Janssens. And students from the music and theatre departments of the Conservatoire Royal de Liège will perform works by Luc Ferrari and Sandeep Bhagwati.
