Quasar Saxophone Quartet (Quebec)
Saxophone class of the Conservatoire de Liège
Centre Henri Pousseur, electronics

This concert is the result of a close collaboration between the Conservatoire Royal de Liège, the Conservatoire Royal de Mons, Centre Henri Pousseur and the Quebec saxophone quartet Quasar, which is dedicated to the creation and promotion of contemporary music. Thus, thanks to a residency in Liège, and the meeting with the quartet, the students of the composition and mixed composition classes of the Conservatories had the opportunity to develop new works while benefiting from the advice and enormous expertise of the instrumentalists of the Quasar quartet.

Creations and works by Nicolas Defraiteur, Denis Geerts, Mateo Bourgogne, Chiara Vaneigem, Quentin Ballivet et Jean-Marc Bouchard

Professors of composition and mixed composition: Michel Fourgon (Royal Conservatory of Liège), Claude Ledoux (Royal Conservatory of Mons), Gilles Gobert (Royal Conservatories of Liège and Mons).

Students of the saxophone class of the Crlg : Valentijn Lievens, Matteo Messere, Benoit Feuillen, Henri Piette, Chi Pok Lee, Morgane Caspers, Sam Van Rompuy, Andrea Van Acker, Agata Zivoder
