The Images Sonores Festival has been organized annually by the Centre Henri Pousseur since 1999. The event is dedicated to contemporary music creation, sound art, and “mixed” music: the sonic universe where acoustic instruments engage in dialogue with their electronic extensions, diffused in space.
Museums, concert halls, and alternative venues set the stage for this festival offering a wide spectrum of eclectic musical creations, performances, and interdisciplinary encounters. The listener is immersed in the center of a unique experience that renews their way of listening to music.
The festival is organized by the Centre Henri Pousseur in partnership with the City of Liège, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, and the Province of Liège.
