We are delighted to announce that Nicolas Roulive has been awarded the Henri Pousseur 2023 Prize. Congratulations to Nicolas Roulive !

The Centre Henri Pousseur takes part in the sound design of the “L’au-delà des eaux” exhibition.

Every two years, a special prize awards a young composer from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in Belgium. The Henri Pousseur Prize consists in the commission of a mixed work created by the Ensemble Hopper. The winner receives the support of the technical team of the Centre Henri Pousseur.

Amount of the prize: 2000 €.

The event is dedicated to today’s musical writings and “mixed” music: the sound universe where acoustic instruments enter into dialogue with their electronic extension, diffused in space.The 2023 edition of the festival features musical works by Séverine Ballon, Hugues Dufourt, Gilles Gobert, Denis Geerts, Jean-Marie Rens, Gilles Doneux, Henri Pousseur, Sachit Ajmani, Ludovic Monnier, Yeni Choi, Ethan Blackburn and Cédric Havard.
